Alix Earle says she'll finally tell her side of the Alex Cooper feud on her Netflix show

She teased a response back in April and never dropped it. Now she says the reveal is coming on season one of 'Earle Meets World.'

Alix Earle has spent three months letting everyone else narrate her split from Alex Cooper. She just told everyone where the real version is going: to Netflix.

In an interview with TIME for its TIME100 Creators package, Earle said she is finally going to unpack the Cooper of it all on the first season of her reality show, "Earle Meets World." She had been sitting on it. "It's something I'm going to talk about on the show," she said. "That was one of the things in the beginning they wanted me to talk about, and I really wasn't comfortable sharing."

Then, by her account, the timing did the writing for her. "Everything unfolded the way it did while we were filming," she told the magazine. "There was a serious struggle behind the scenes of emotions, and my family showed up for me." Translation for anyone who tuned out a year of subtweets: the cameras happened to be rolling while it all went sideways.

Quick catch-up for the blissfully unaware

Earle signed to Cooper's Unwell Network and launched her "Hot Mess" podcast under it. She left in March 2025 and took the podcast with her. Nobody on either side ever spelled out why, which is exactly the kind of vacuum the internet loves to fill.

It stopped being subtext in April 2026, when Cooper went on TikTok and told Earle to quit hinting and start talking. "There's no NDA. No one is stopping you," Cooper said. "Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself." She was reacting to Earle reposting another creator's video that called Cooper "so awful" for telling people's stories when they are at their lowest.

Earle's entire on-the-record reply at the time was a comment left under Cooper's video: "Okay on it." Then she went quiet. No response video ever landed, and fans have been refreshing ever since.

So what is actually new here

The news is not that these two have beef. The news is that the receipt drop finally has a delivery date, and it is a Netflix show rather than a hastily filmed apology in the notes app. "Earle Meets World" is Earle's family reality series, co-starring her sister Ashtin, and it is set to premiere later this year.

Keep expectations calibrated, though. Earle says she will "talk about" it, which is not the same as naming names and reading texts aloud on camera. Cooper has not commented on the Netflix plan. And the question of why Earle really left Unwell is still unconfirmed by either camp, no matter how many theories are floating around.

After a year of reposts, likes, and one very pointed "Okay on it," the saga finally has the one thing it was missing: a place and a time.
